Geek vent....
I _HATE_ debugging Cacti issues. When it works it's great, when it doesn't, the errors, if they exist, are useless at best. Cacti is a kludge built ontop of rrdtool. rddtool is a kludge of MRTG, which was pretty kludgy to begin with.
