My Mom's dog had to be put to sleep today. Last week her leg was hurting, so they took her in and x-rayed her leg and it looked fine, so they thought she had just pulled a muscle. The pain got worse, so they took her back yesterday, and this morning they thought the might have to remove her leg, and the ended up putting her to sleep. She had a very aggressive cancer.

Daisy was an amazing dog. We never knew what breed she was. She was a rescue. When she was a pup they found her running with a pack on an indian reservation. The pack had killed a porcupine and Daisy and several others were picked up for severe wounds form the porcupine quills. She was one of the smartest and best dogs we've ever had in our family.
