My sister is automotively cursed, all of a sudden...

Last week the clutch went out on her car. She paid the $1200 and got it fixed.

This weekend the radiator on her car died, so she bought a new one, and she and I replaced it on the roadside in Capital Hill.

At this point, I think her Volvo is just old and showing it's age, but then...

We get home after replacing the radiator, and she wants to go to the store to get some more radiator fluid, so she borrows my truck. I go out this morning to go to work and the dash is completely dead. The fuse blew for the dash.

She's not allowed to drive my truck till this bad juju is cleared up. :-p

Whuf, good luck! The $1200 clutch repair is why I drive Hondas, I got an entire rear end redo with labor for $600. The 150K service was $300 (that includes timing and vales and 10x82 other things). I love Volvos, but OI! The repairs will get you! Same with Subarus, they're great until they break down, then forgetaboutit! Hope the curse breaks before more car stuff does! Miss ya, MWAH!

I told her to break the curse she would need to...

Go to an auto supply store like a Schucks or a Kraggen, and walk backward through all the rows while chanting, "Nikolaus August Otto is God and Karl Benz is his one true prophet." Then and only then will this curse be lifted.

And in extreme cases add a NASCAR hat or t-shirt, and chewing tobacco.
