Wow... My sisters job needs some security...
So my sister works for the CDC and King County doing a study on the spread of aids. It has multiple phases, the last phase was going to gay night clubs and events to interview and test gay men. She had a blast. The current phase 6 month phase ends in November and is it interviewing intravenous drug users. The test is anonymous and the participants get $50.
A couple days ago some guy came in and tried to shoot up in one of their interview rooms, so my sister had to kick him out. She escorted him out and after she got him out of the building, he tried to stab her. He missed, she reported it to her superiors, and everyone thought that the guy would sober up, and that would be the end of it. Because the tests are anonymous, they take no names and there are no video camera.
I didn't talk to my sister yesterday (she rents a room from me so we talk daily) as I went to the art walk with Molly and got home late, and she drove herself to work this morning.
Anyway, I get a call from my Mom a couple minutes ago asking if my sister is more upset than she's letting on about a gun being pulled on her. This was the first I had heard about it, but apparently the junkie came back yesterday, still pissed, and pulled a gun on my sister.
Seriously, they need some security guards at her work, if she's going to be dealing with people like that.
