Take acetaminophen to help with the fever. If the fever is constantly above 100 and closer to 101 then go to the doctor. If it is not, I would wait to go to the doctor. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated and with the water, occasionally add Gatorade or some sort of fluid to help keep your sugar and electrolytes levels healthy. Typically they will not prescribe an anti biotic unless there is signs of an internal infection. If you are coughing green, then go, if it is white/yellowish, I would wait. Doctors are trying to stay away from antibiotics because of how they were over prescribed in the 80w-90s and now realize that many people have become immune to many of them.
