I'm curious. I haven't seen Matrix Reloaded, yet, and I was wondering if Final Flight of Osiris is from it. I've asked a couple people, but they didn't remember the scene as I described it. So, is it from the second film, third film, or something seperate?

Well... That was the 5th post today that LJ has timed out on, and IE has failed to save. Let me just type this up again... (I thought the changes LJ made were supposed to HELP performence!) Anyway, enough of my whining...

There are three scenes.

It starts with a man and woman engaged in an erotic sword fight, in the simulator. Gradually cutting the cloths from each others bodies while blindfolded.

Then they are pulled form the simulator because there are thousands of squids closing on them and their ship, Osiris. The run and end up reaching the surface. When theyget to the surface the find a huge robot army putting giant drills into place over Zion.

The woman enters the matrix to warn Zion, while the ship tries to run from the robots. She drops a message in the mailbox just as Osiris is destroyed and she is killed.

The end.

at one point they recieve a message "the last message from osiris" - and it is this msg that delivers the bad news to zion(eg the drills)

so it is mentioned, but doesnt actually appear in reloaded.

Some places are showing "Final Flight" as sort of featurette before Reloaded.
