Luckly the bark dust place was closed, but unluckly that meant weeding instead. Litterally, 27 bags (about 2.5 truck loads, piled high) later, we gave up for the day and got ready for Fathers Day festivities. Which went fine. This I sat out, till about 2 minutes ago, with my Mom's spotting scope, looking at the stars, while being eaten by misquitos. But the cool even breeze felt good on my sunburns, so it was all good. The only thing of note I saw was a planet to the west south west, and I could see three moons around it, I was looking for nebuli and star clusters, but I can't see Orion, and I'm not to sure where there are other bright examples of such things. That, and I'm uber tired, and need sleep.
Oh, and I learned that my digital camera will not work for photoing opjects through the telescope. Otherwise I would share the planet and three moons with you.
