Oh... One other question I wanted to have in the other post, but forgot...

I see a lot of people who rag on the police. But if we stand back and look at things. What is worse, the police or the politicians who create all the vague, obscure, loop hole ridden laws we have to endure, and they have to enforce?

The reason I bring this up, is I was thinking that we really need laws to have an expiration/renewal date, and with it, the reason the law was made. If the reason the law was made it is no longer valid when the renewal date comes up, the senate should re-evalutate it, and provide new reasons for the law to remain in existence. I think the site DumbLaws.com is a good example as to why.

So, why doen't we have formal review cycles of laws? There seem to be a lot of out dated laws. Laws that exist and complicate our lives long after the reason for the laws have passed.
