We took Daisey to Garbiel Park yesterday, to check out the "Off Leash Area". It was very nice. Lot's of people were there with their dogs. It is a large area, giving the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and a couple trees for shade for thier owners. And both a large flat area and a hill, to brovide terrain diference. There was also lots of water and water bowls, and chairs to use.

The one odd thing, the fence is only 3 feet high. Easily jumpable by many dogs. And it boarders a tennis court (sharing the three foot fence). I'm suprised I didn't see and dogs jump the fence and go for the tennis balls being wacked back and forth.

They other oddity, how many dog owners couldn't be bothered to close the gates after themselves. I know I went up and closed the gate after three different dog owners went through.

All in all, a very nice crowd, and given the number of people and dogs, I felt very safe that the dog poisoner had not left any of his/her "presents" behind.
