After this evenings experience, I am NEVER having an alarm in any house I have. We were having thunder and strong winds, and the alarm just went off. It never called the monitoring company or anything like that, it just kept going and going. It wasn't armed, so I tried disarming and rearming, but that didn't work. I tried calling the alarm company listed on the sticker in the window, but hey are out of business. I tried the alarm company whose sticker is on the alarm box, but they are out of business. I tried calling various family members, in case they had a clue, but no one was answering so I finally found a pdf for the manual online. Nothing in the worked. Finally, I hit "COMMAND" then "TEST" and it finally shut up, after three hours of hell!!! That noise is the audio version of chinese water torture!
