Reading the May 27th issue of Rolling Stone I learned that The Cure is coming out with a new album!!!! Yeah!!!!

Another thing I've noticed... Isn't Rolling Stone supposed to be a magazine about rock-n-roll? If so, what is a majority of it dedicate to hip-hop and rap? I have nothing against hip-hop and rap, but it just seems odd.

In other news, TV was sucking last night (not really news, I know) so I tried to watch Cirque su solie(sp?)'s "Escape". It's was obviously made for TV, not the stage. I don't know, but it seemed like watching a ballet version of a gay prison sex snuff film with a mad genii running around looking like a more sadistic version of Strong Bad and a voyueristic mad scientist from MST3K.

Yeah, it's their new TV series. I like what I've seen- it's more story-oriented than their stage work, and the acrobatics and such are still amazing. The mad scientist is kinda weird- I think he works as the bookend for each episode, but other than that is just odd and French. Definitely didn't see the gay snuff film genie- the one I caught was about a haunted hotel.
