First off, let me just say, I LOVE WiFi!!!

That said, there is one aspect that concerns me as more and more placed get free public WiFi. Some cities are trying to offer it. Texas will now offer it at all it's rest stops. Some businesses offer it.

So, what happens when hackers, script kiddies, people engaged in child porn, etc start using the public free wifi? Once on they are anonymous, and there is no way to track them down. There is one identifying thing on the computer, which is the MAC address, which can be changed at will.

As much as I love WiFi (especially free WiFi), I really think there are some issues that need to be addressed before anyone can use it in a willy-nilly fashion.
